Bend Brake Bender / Operator
If you have assembly experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably the automotive aftermarket industry or related field) and thrive in a culture of innovation and cutting-edge manufacturing technology, this is the job for you.
Key skills include:
- Advanced knowledge of sheet metal forming
- In-depth knowledge of sheet metal properties and sheet metal forming
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working in ERP system
- Part nesting experience is a plus
Required competencies include:
- Detail orientated
- Organized and able to understand manufacturing processes
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to learn new technologies and motivation to go above and beyond minimum requirements
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Operate, program and maintain robotic bend/brake machines, including charting machine performance and administering routine checks/maintenance
- Read and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Plan sequences of operation to achieve optimal precision and tolerances
- Prepare raw materials for production, ensuring material quality prior to production sequence
- Adherence to all company standards for quality and safety
