Material Handler
If you have experience with material handling in a manufacturing environment and thrive in a culture of innovation and cutting-edge manufacturing technology, this may be the job for you.
Key skills include, but are not limited to:
- High school education or equivalent
- Mathematical ability with clear, legible handwriting
- Two (2) years previous stockroom experience, preferable in a similar environment
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time, walk, frequently lift up to 50 pounds (over 50 lb. with assistance), and operate industrial lift trucks
- Duties involve frequent bending and stretching to reach items and climbing ladders and step stools
Required competencies include:
- Detail orientated
- Organized and able to understand manufacturing processes
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to learn new technologies and motivation to go above and beyond minimum requirements
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Under general supervision, receive incoming materials in compliance with established procedures and quality assurance guidelines
- Shipping of parts in compliance with established procedures
- Assisting transportation companies with transferring materials from trucks to receiving location; verifying receipts, quantity, and quality of materials; completing applicable paperwork; and delivery of all items as required
- Tracking of shipments and updating carrier systems
